Template:Account

One attributed account, for use under a == Competing accounts == heading. Stack several. Do not merge them into a single smooth paragraph — the disagreement is the information.

{{Account
| by     = Nigel
| source = personal correspondence
| date   = 1998
| tag    = firsthand
| text = It did not speak. I want that written down because everyone
           who repeats this says that it spoke.
| doubt = He was three weeks without sleep by then and says so himself.
}}

Handle, name or file reference. Renders as unsigned if omitted, which is itself worth knowing.

Where it came to us from — a tome, a leak, a board, a conversation.
